Let's Celebrate!

At Burpham, we have lots to celebrate! This page is a place to recognise those who really go 'over and above'.

Once a month, children may be invited to join our Headteacher for a hot chocolate. Children can be nominated by any adult in the school for any reason, as long as they have demonstrated something brilliant!

 January's hot chocolate nominees were:

Harrison in Year 4 for always being ready, respectful and safe and a kind and helpful member of the class.

Kayleigh in Year 5 who can always be relied upon to learn straight away and try her best.

Amelie from Year 4 who is always ready to learn and start her work and help others with a smile on her face.

Yeonseo from Year 5 who is always ready, respectful and safe. She is kind and supportive, whoever she is working with.

Summer from Year 4 is always helpful, showing she is ready, respectful and safe. She is a good friend and notices when others are upset or need help.

Emily from Year 6 is always ready, respectful and safe. She works so hard and is always supportive of her classmates.

Maya from Year 6 always tries her absolute best in every single lesson and is always kind, polite and respectful.

Archer from Year R is always contributing his ideas on the carpet and plays purposefully during busy time.

Lydia from Year R is always trying her best on the carpet and is working so hard on her reading and writing.

Kiki is always helpful and kind and helps to keep the classroom organised.

Kavi is always ready, respectful and safe and always tries her best.

Milo has tried so hard to improve his times tables and achieve his Olympian award. He is always kind and respectful.

Check out the gallery below  to see a small selection of images from our whole school reward afternoon.  Children joined in activities across the school as a reward for all the Burpham points earned last term.  There was lots on offer for the children to choose from ranging from chess, Lego, dancing, construction, den building, PE, coding and more.  A well deserved and fun afternoon was had by all!
