Let's Celebrate!
At Burpham, we have lots to celebrate! This page is a place to recognise those who really go 'over and above'.
Once a month, children may be invited to join our Headteacher for a hot chocolate. Children can be nominated by any adult in the school for any reason, as long as they have demonstrated something brilliant!
March's hot chocolate nominees were:
Sophia in Year 6 for always giving 100% in everything she does.
Yousuf in Year 6 for consistently demonstrating a mature attitude to learning and for always trying his best.
Oscar in Year 5 for showing resilience and determination to have fun at school and learn.
Lula in Year 5 for producing exemplary work in lessons, helping others and consistently being ready, respectful and safe.
Fuhaim in Year 4 for always trying his best, following our rules and having such a positive attitude.
George in Year 4 for consistently working hard without any fuss.
Srijith in Year 3 for increased contributions in class and for making amazing progress in Maths due to his hard work.
Sienna in Year 2 for working really hard and being ready to learn.
Emmie in Year 2 for her enthusiasm about all of her learning.
Ozzie in Year 1 for always showing ready, respectful and safe behaviours.
Otis in Year 1 for becoming more independent, trying really hard with his writing and being resilient like Patrick.
Amelia in Year R for always following our ready, respectful, safe rules and trying her best.
Olly in Year R for always trying his best during our daily phonics session.
Check out the gallery below to see a small selection of images from our whole school reward afternoon. Children joined in activities across the school as a reward for all the Burpham points earned last term. There was lots on offer for the children to choose from ranging from chess, Lego, dancing, construction, den building, PE, coding and more. A well-deserved and fun afternoon was had by all!
